as possible. With single movies, it is necessary to 'shove'
all the key themes in as much as possible, which is another reason
why Anime rocks so much: its filled to the brim with story,
even if it can be *too* much for some. Sometimes it is; such as in X,
which shoots twisting and turning instalments of themes straight at your
face.
In conjunction with this, Anime and Manga seem to show
a lot of images and clips of school and work life. this portrays nicely
to western-watchers the complexity and chaotic happenings of Japan and
its people.
Another different flavour of Anime and Manga is that it
doesn't always end happily, actually, it rarely does. Many great finales
end with the protagonist, or closely related individual, dies. There are
three main endings for Anime and Manga: the hero wins (the
girl, the throne etc.), the hero dies (after winning), or the hero kind
of wins (at an extreme loss).
